Regional Sales Manager (North Central Territory) - BLOW MOLDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, development and maintaining North America Sales in a defined geographic region. Responsible for assisting in the efficient, cost effective resolution of customer issues and sustaining a high degree of customer satisfaction with Milacron and its products and services.
Essential/Key Functions: (Primary Responsibilities) (80%)
  • Prepares sales forecasts and established regional sales objectives to achieve profit plan for new machine lines, molds and aftermarket parts. Establish, implement and monitor procedures to insure objectives are realized on a consistent basis.
  • Maintains contact with current customers through regular communications by personal visit or phone to handle inquiries or complaints. Provide information on process improvements, replacement parts, new product developments and other pertinent matters.
  • Responsible for timely resolution of customer satisfaction issues utilizing corrective action procedures. May identify, initiate, recommend and implement corrective actions, through proper procedure, designed to satisfy the customer and prevent reoccurrence. Responsible and authorized to control delivery and installation of questionable product until identified issues are resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the company.
  • Visits prospective customers to familiarize them with the product line which will best suit their needs; present comparison values with competitor products stressing the merits of Milacron machinery and machine systems by virtue of established and proven systems at other customer locations; offer visitations to the home facility of that of current customer to visually demonstrate the merits of the machine system over that of competitors. Prospective customer visits may also provide obtainment of marketplace developments, particularly with respect to competitor activity, such information to be reported promptly to the NA Sales Manager.
  • Maintain proper payment and credit terms; assist in the collection of delinquent accounts upon notification of same by the Controller. Contacts overdue customers directly for collection when requested to do so.
  • Submits on schedule basis sales control reports and data such as call reports, expense reports, competitor activity, ?lost business? and related subjects.
  • Analyzes customer?s requirements, prepares price quotations, terms of sale, delivery dates, service and warranty considerations, etc. and forwards customer order to NA Sales Manager for acceptance and action. Must be thoroughly familiar with Milacron sales policies, particularly those concerning service and warranty work.
  • May participate in preparation of sales forecasts, market planning by communication with NA Sales Manager and other Sales Managers to supply marketing/sales information that has been gathered from area visitations. Performs a general market research function with respect to assigned area. May design and suggest sales policies, advertising programs, sales promotion projects, new or modified product suggestions, and other related matters.
  • Participate in company sales, product training program and trade shows as requested by the NA Sales Manager.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all competitive activity within region.
  • Establish personal and company strategies for penetrating key target accounts.
    Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5 to 7 years in sales with several years of experience directly related to Milacron product line.
  • Technical knowledge of product line of blow molding machinery, molds and aftermarket parts in conjunction with successful sales techniques to competently present and sell the full product line.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
